Stability, PlayStation controllers, Steam Deck and more

Articho Games

Hi tourists! We're currently working on the next part of the game and, alongside that, we're trying to make it as stable as possible. So we took the opportunity to hunt down bugs and errors. All the details below.

The two biggest issues occurred at launch and when reaching the main menu: they are now fixed. If you still run into them, don't hesitate to contact us. Patch notes Additions

  • PS4 and PS5 controller support, both natively and through Steam Input.
  • Improved Steam Deck support.
  • Automatic keyboard layout detection (AZERTY, QWERTY, QWERTZ), which can be changed in the options.
  • Added a loading screen to prevent some startup issues.
  • Shader precompilation to avoid stuttering during gameplay on lower-end setups.
  • Added Italian translation.

Fixes

  • Fixed startup crashes on several configurations.
  • Fixed crashes in-game and in menus.
  • Fixed visuals that were incompatible with DX11 (road not appearing, etc.).
  • Moved photo 24, which many of you found difficult or even impossible to take.
  • The "grab" action can now be bound to a key.
  • Adjusted some collisions (notably the railway bridge and the docks), as many of you were getting stuck.

What's next? We're continuing work on the next level. We're also aware of the Steam session issues and the end cutscene issues some of you are experiencing: these are our next priorities. Enjoy your stroll!
