Blackbeard Joins the "Wet Floor Guys" DLC

AAAA Games, LLC

Today’s 1.2.0 patch notes include a few missed notes from 1.1.0, so marked.

General:

  • Tweaked collision in Mother Goose’s Target Test stage near the central targets. This should make it easier for other characters to hit the central targets.
  • Fixed issues that caused Grabs to fail to hit opponents in certain scenarios.
  • Made CPU difficulty more granular. This should make low level CPUs easier.
  • A new fighter, Blackbeard, joins the Wet Floor Guys DLC pass

As of 1.1.0:

  • The existing burst movement rolls will now be fully invulnerable during travel time, but have an additional five frames of ending lag. This applies to Lilith and Colonel Bleep.
  • Made many different improvements to CPU behavior, including many bugfixes and new context-sensitive logic for CPU attacks.
  • Further increased online stability, which should further reduce the frequency of desyncs.

Colonel Bleep:

  • Fixed a bug that allowed you to remain in the air indefinitely.

Lilith:

  • Air Special:
  • Hitbox made about 50% thinner (vertical hitbox range remains unchanged).
  • Landing lag when hitting the ground during the move 6 → 15 frames.

Throw:

  • Grab animation and hitboxes adjusted. Grab now has a slightly slower initial animation but grab hitbox comes out an animation frame earlier. This effectively gives the move the same startup but less range.
  • The original grab hitbox still exists, but now comes out 3 frames slower and has reduced range.
  • Knockback growth reduced 1.2 → 1.1.

Wet Floor Guy:

  • Fixed an oversight that caused Air Weak and Air Strong to have very little landing lag.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed you to remain in the air indefinitely.

Bigfoot: (as of 1.1.0)

  • Fixed a bug that would prevent Bigfoot from doing ledge attacks.

Nessie: (as of 1.1.0)

  • Air Weak: Fixed an oversight that was causing this move to beat grabs.
  • Two new builds on El Dorado: pre-destroyed, and permanent Wet Floor Physics
  • Two new builds on Loch Ness: Cloud Ships and The Flying Dutchman
  • These builds join the lineup free for ALL players
