RuneScape: Dragonwilds is celebrating its launch with our biggest ever Creator-driven event: Wrath of the Dragons!

Tomorrow, on Saturday 19th September, at 9AM PDT/12PM EDT/5PM BST/6PM CET, 32 creators will step into Dragonwilds’ 1.0 release, and will be given just 6 hours to prepare a fresh character to beat the first Dragon in Dragonwilds - Velgar.

Whether you first slayed a big green dragon in 2001, or 2026, you know RuneScape, so you know this story. Heroes are called to become a Dragon Slayer. This time, four heroes are called, together, to slay a Dragon - but Kuldra won’t let that happen without a few twists.

The wild anima of Ashenfall means that every hour, the world will shift with a few custom modifiers to make our creators more powerful - or more vulnerable! They might find that their attacks suddenly hurt each other, or that their hunger might be fatal if left unchecked. Their magic may suddenly have no cooldowns, or their crafting stations may suddenly surge with power and process much faster! Whatever powers they’re going to be getting, expect there to be plenty of chaotic moments and a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
