「The Starless Path」A Late Summer Gift for all Travelers

Hello, Travelers!

Following The Starless Path update, today we’d like to share a story created not within the game, but by Travelers in our community.

Over time, we’ve seen all kinds of wonderful creations from the community, from fan art featuring our Travelers to memes and more. Many of them have shown us sides of the Travelers that even we had never imagined. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has created and shared these works with us.

Today, we’d especially like to introduce Saga, who has been drawing Yubar with incredible love and dedication for a very long time.

Another Yubar, Created by the Community

Community artist Saga has been drawing Yubar since the early days of the game. From fan art shared on our official Discord to stickers, commissions, and even an award-winning entry in our fan art contest, we’ve had many chances to see Yubar through Saga’s unique style.

Among those works was a piece of fan art depicting Yubar enjoying the summer. At the time, the game didn’t even have a costume system, but that illustration stayed with us for a long time.

Bringing the design from the artwork into the game, however, would have required much more than simply modifying Yubar’s existing model, and at the time, we didn’t have the resources to make it happen.

Fortunately, while preparing The Starless Path update, we found ourselves with just enough time to finally turn that dream into an actual in-game costume. We reached out to Saga directly and asked for permission to use the design—and that’s how “Midsummer Night’s Dream Yubar” came to life.

For All the Travelers Who Have Waited So Long

Summer may have already slipped away, but even if it’s a little late, we still wanted to share this summer version of Yubar with all of you.

As a small token of our appreciation to the community artists who have shared their incredible creations with us, the players who have patiently stayed with us through the long wait, and everyone who has shown so much love for Yubar and Shape of Dreams, we’re giving this costume to everyone for free.
