Hello, Travelers! We hope you’re enjoying your journey through the dream.
It’s hard to believe, but it’s already been nearly a year since Shape of Dreams first began exploring the dream world together with all of you.
Over the past year, countless Travelers from around the world have ventured through the Rapids, surprising even our development team with builds and playstyles more creative—and sometimes more outrageous—than anything we could have imagined.
With our first anniversary just around the corner, we thought this would be the perfect time to look back at the incredible journey you’ve created together!
The Numbers Made Us Look Twice
While putting together this infographic, we had a few moments where members of the development team asked, “For real?” and went back to double-check the logs.
Add up all the time you’ve spent on your journeys, and it comes to a staggering 388 years, 114 days, 6 hours, and 23 minutes. In that time, you’ve defeated an incredible 951,010,652 monsters. That works out to roughly 730 monsters per Traveler.
And over those countless years, poor Belphomet was defeated a whopping 37,119,217 times. The development team would like to extend our deepest sympathies to this unfortunate boss.
Co-op Adventures
You embarked on 17,102,733 co-op runs and revived your teammates 30,127,767 times.
In other words, someone went down nearly twice per co-op run on average—and yet, time and time again, you picked each other back up and kept moving forward, proving just how strong the bonds between fellow Travelers can be.
(Or maybe you were just playing with a certain Lucid Dream active.)
The Most Popular Travelers
When it came to Travelers, Mist proudly took the #1 spot, with Lacerta and Bismuth close behind as some of your most trusted companions. Mist was also the most popular partner in co-op, taking the top spot both solo and alongside fellow Travelers.
And when it came to fashion, Canary Bismuth, Guide of Souls Yubar, Pyromaniac Lacerta, and Valiant Warrior Mist were your most-loved looks, in that order.
Those Who Reached the End of the Dream
The overall clear rate was 16.7%—roughly one successful journey out of every six. Reaching the end of the dream was certainly no easy feat.
And then there’s Limbo 6, with a clear rate of just 0.077%. Only 0.077% of Travelers managed to conquer the highest level of Limbo.
To the true “Masters of the Dream” who overcame this brutal challenge: you have our utmost respect!
What Was Your Most Memorable Moment?
Behind all the enormous numbers in this infographic are countless close calls, thrilling victories, and unforgettable moments that each of you experienced along the way.
Maybe it was the run where you somehow survived with just 1 HP. Maybe it was the absurdly powerful build that came together completely by accident. Or maybe it was the moment you and your friend went down at exactly the same time and could do nothing but laugh.
