Driver's Diary of October

Hi Runners

The spooky season is keeping our truck sim games busy!

October brought SnowRunner’s Season 19 and its snowy Swiss Alps, while November is just around the corner with RoadCraft’s Foundations Expansion, launching on November 3!

Let’s take a deeper look together!

SNOWRUNNER

SEASON 19 - RECAP

Hey Runners,

Season 19: Research & Restore launched over a week ago, so here's a little recap of everything it has to offer!

Winter has hit this picturesque Swiss canton hard! Repair an old viaduct, protect roads from avalanches, and help a hot-air balloon festival take off. Your main objective is to restore a space observatory and deliver its delicate optical instruments!

Season 19 features three vast maps:

And, as always, a new season means new trucks to get your hands on!

• The Wortek 250T: A versatile Heavy-class truck with a wide range of add-ons and one of the largest fuel tanks in the game.

• The 8x8 Derry Savior: With three steering axles, it combines impressive pulling power with excellent maneuverability.

But that's not all! The accompanying update also brought improvements to the two latest Mercedes-Benz trucks, crash fixes for Nintendo Switch 2, and more.

Check out the patch notes for the full details!

Season 19 is included in the Year 5 Pass and is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

A QUICK UPDATE ON WHAT'S TO COME

With Season 19 freshly released, we're now turning our attention to SnowRunner's next major update and fourth expansion: Season 20! We're currently looking at a release between the last few days of winter and the early days of spring, so stay tuned for more teasers and reveals as we get closer! Where do you think it'll be set?

Contrary to the last few Year 4 and Year 5 updates though, there won't be a standalone DLC inbetween Season 19 and Season 20, so your next stop will be a massive new region with not 2, not 3, but 4 new trucks!

ROADCRAFT

EXPANSION 3: FOUNDATIONS

Hey Builders, New Expansion is just ahead on the road. We can confirm that Expansion 3: Foundations will release on November 3rd. Let’s take a look at what’s coming your way! Pack your garage and come explore two gorgeous new maps: Spring Renewal and Oasis Delta .

To conquer these new environments, we are bringing some serious heavy machinery to your garage. You’ll be getting behind the wheel of four completely new vehicles, along with some fresh cosmetic variants for a few of your familiar rides.

• ALCES PL30C Pile Driver

• Voltrack Concrete MX

• Voltrack MK11 Concrete Pumper

• Metal magnetic crane EPEC MAG240

Three variants are also included in this expansion

• Aramatsu R1 Asphalt Roller: to compact asphalt and create smooth roads
• Derry Longhorn 4520 Heavy Hauler: as requested, this one has a wider carrying platform and remains stable while transporting heavy machinery (Tree crusher, Dragline…)
• Isonzo M1 Service Vehicle: a lightweight service vehicle, perfect for rough terrain.

This expansion is all about laying the Groundwork. Foundations introduces a new layer of gameplay. You’ll be transporting new resources (Piles and Concrete) to master our new mechanic: pile driving, the first step of laying down massive concrete foundations. It’s heavy work, but incredibly satisfying.

A Familiar Face returns! She took some time off but you can count on her when there’s heavy work ahead: Kelly is back! For players who love a clean screen and total immersion, we’ve added a highly requested Minimalistic UI toggle to strip back the HUD.

We can't wait for you to start your foundations on November 3rd. Get your wheels ready, and we’ll see you on the road!
