Spooky Market Demo — Update 0.0.3

Hello everyone!

We're excited to release the biggest update yet for Spooky Market Demo.

This update introduces a brand-new gameplay mechanic, a new location to visit, performance improvements, and a large number of bug fixes.

Cursed Dolls

The highlight of this update is the new Cursed Dolls mechanic.

Meet the first cursed doll: Lumber, the Headless Lumberjack.

Lumber can be purchased like any other item, but instead of being sold, it can be placed on a special display case made exclusively for Cursed Dolls. While displayed, Lumber will periodically cast curses on your customers.

Lumber currently has two abilities:

• Strikes a random customer with lightning, stunning them for a short time.
• Increases the customer's final purchase price by 25%.

This is only the first Cursed Doll. We plan to add many more dolls with unique abilities and different playstyles in future updates.

Casino

A new location has opened in town — the Casino, located in the basement.

You can currently play:

• Slot Machines
• Blackjack

More games, events, and rewards will be added in future updates.

Customers

We've also made several changes to the customer system:

• Added new customer appearances.
• Reworked the customer spawning system.
• Reduced the maximum number of customers arriving during each cycle to create a smoother and more balanced gameplay experience.

Optimization

This update also includes several performance improvements:

• Improved graphics optimization.
• Better overall game stability.
• Increased performance across various gameplay situations.

Bug Fixes

As always, we've fixed a large number of issues, including:

• Multiple building-related bugs.
• Various gameplay issues.
• Numerous minor fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
