Update 0.2.0: Co-op (Beta) Is Here - Play Starlathe Together

NEW: CO-OP (BETA)

Starlathe can now be played together. Co-op is a Beta: it is new, it will keep improving, and your reports shape it. Look for the BETA badge next to the Co-Op button on the main menu.

• Play the same galaxy with up to 3 friends (2 to 4 pilots per galaxy, chosen by the host).
• Host a new galaxy or one of your saves, invite friends through Steam, or join a friend from their invite.
• Each friend creates their own pilot: their own talent, profession, portrait and starting ship.
• Every pilot has their own wallet, hold, stash, hangar, fleet, crew, missions, Journal and finances.
• Fly together or split up: every sector a pilot is in keeps running.
• Shared exploration: fog, charted sectors, gates and map notes revealed by one pilot are revealed for everyone. The Codex Ships & Gear list is shared too.
• Give items, credits and even whole ships (with their captain) to another pilot.
• No friendly fire: nothing you fire can hurt another pilot or their ships, stations and buildings.
• Kills, loot, XP and contract rewards go to the pilot who earned them. Station payouts are split between pilots.
• A destroyed pilot sees PILOT DOWN, can watch the others, and comes back in their own starting ship with the starter kit, keeping their money, level and skills. Their cargo spills as loot at the wreck and officers aboard eject in escape pods.
• With permadeath on, a downed pilot returns as a fresh pilot while the others fly on. The run ends only when every pilot is down.
• Only the host pauses and sets the game speed. Press P to see who is online.
• Every pilot reads every message, floating text and Galaxy Log line in their own language.
• Saves keep every pilot, so friends can come back to their own pilot later.

FIXED

• Fixed: in Fullscreen mode, pressing the Windows key or Alt-Tab opened the Start menu and taskbar behind the game, so it looked like nothing happened.
