Open Beta for Super Battle Golf

We will be running an open beta for any and all participants from October 23rd to November 2nd. This open beta is to test a change to the networking backend. We will be switching from Steam to Epic Online Services. Users will never be required to create an Epic account for any ingame features. The game will always be available to play through Steam.

This change is to allow full crossplay between Steam and all future console releases. So far everyone who has been asking how they can help support Super Battle Golf, this beta participation is fantastic support!

How To Opt In

Step 1: Open your Steam library and find Super Battle Golf. Right click on the title name and select "Properties". A new box should show up for display afterwards.

Step 2: Click on the "Game Versions & Betas" tab. This should bring you to the Game Versions & Betas section.

Step 3: Under Game Versions & Betas, you will find a section called "beta: Test unreleased features with us!". Click on circle on this tab in order to opt in to the beta branch.

Step 4: With this selected, you should see "Super Battle Golf [beta]" as the new title for Super Battle Golf. Allow your game to fully update and then click play.

Extra: You may opt out at any time. In order to do so, follow the above steps but click on "Default Public Version" in order to return to the public branch.

Other Beta Details

Lobbies: Those who are participating in the open beta will only see lobbies of other beta participants. If you are in a friend group, you'll need your other friends to opt in to the open beta as well. You may switch branches at any time.

Cosmetics: All cosmetics are unlocked while playing on the beta, regardless of whether they were previously purchased or unlocked by an achievement. Note that if any cosmetic loadouts have cosmetics equipped on the beta branch that are not unlocked and purchased on the currently live default branch, they will be reset to default when returning to the default branch.

Currency: Any currency earned on the beta will be awarded once the update being tested goes live at a later date, but will not be awarded on the currently live default branch.

Bugs: As this is a beta, you may run into issues. Please send any bug reports to support@brimstone.games , post on the steam forums (please clearly state you are on the Beta Branch when reporting) , or you can reach out to us on our discord.

Language: The beta is only available in English. Launching the beta will not override your selected language outside of the beta
