New
Game Modes. The new world flow opens with a Game Mode screen. Pick one preset and the game sets fuel usage, raid frequency and size, roadblocks, puzzle difficulty, resource gathering, day length and more in a single click.
- Default — The Survival Machine experience as designed. A balanced mix of building, fighting, exploring and puzzles.
- Machinist — Scarce fuel, wearing parts and raids that test your defenses. Plan every tile of the deck and keep the Machine running.
- Pathfinder — Long days and a quiet road. The hardest riddles guard the best blueprints. Leave the deck and go find them.
- Warpath — A horde every night and a road with no stops. Grab your gun and hold the roof.
- Caravan — A forgiving ride built for crews. Every role counts and the run survives your mistakes.
- Creator — Build your own game experience. Answer a few questions and tune every setting yourself.
Difficulty stays a separate step, so you can pair any mode with Easy, Medium or Hard. Customize Game still lets you change every value after you pick a preset.
Fixes
- Sorting a storage container no longer breaks the UI when a furnace is set to Automatic mode.
- The Boomstick bow no longer leaves an invisible collider at the point of impact. A stray collider on the explosion has been removed.
- Spamming Space in the lobby no longer blocks the game from starting.
- Recalling a drone with the right mouse button while a material is already assigned now shows the correct text instead of a missing translation.
