Update 1.3.10
Dear Tankers and Mechanics!
today we're releasing another patch with fixes and a few new features.
Situation report
The Steam Autumn Sale ended on October 8, but Tank Squad will remain discounted until October 22, 2026. Our financial situation remains very difficult, and the success of this extended sale may be crucial in helping us continue development until the Ponyri DLC is ready. Every purchase and recommendation makes a real difference to us.
Rebuild 17.10.2026 info
Following the final rebuild, we made additional improvements to the Vehicle Squad HUD and Orders Menu. The squad display now updates automatically when units leave, rejoin or spawn, while the player’s currently controlled vehicle is hidden to keep it consistent with the Orders Menu. We also redesigned the vehicle status panel and added a “Knocked Out” state matching the Battle Map.
The rebuild also includes additional fixes for HEAT and APHE projectiles, spalling, missing unit icons, counterattacks, GOG avatars and engine sounds continuing to play after a vehicle was destroyed.
Today, we’re releasing Update 1.3.10 as part of our plan to deliver a new patch every two weeks, alternating with development status reports. Work on the Ponyri DLC continues alongside these updates, with further improvements being made to its missions, environments, vehicles and gameplay systems.
This update introduces visible capture and defense zones in the game world, on the Battle Map and on the minimap. Their visibility can be adjusted in the game settings. The objective system has also been expanded with separate neutralisation and takeover phases, clearer progress information and improved co-op synchronisation.
We’ve also added a new Vehicle Squad UI above vehicle crew members and dynamic vehicle status indicators to the Battle Map. These indicators show whether a vehicle is unable to move, unable to fire or has been knocked out, and automatically update after repairs, refuelling and crew changes.
Spectator UI also have some modifications to show proper faction emblem. We also working on adding Cinematic Tools avaialable to control camera, post process, time & weather and other cool sliders to produce better screenshots during the missions. Since during the game a lot ot stuff is happening right now and its worth to take a picture of it ;)
Regarding User/Bug reporter. We have improved some stuff here. Wehave added required-field validation, submission progress, optional logs and screenshots, and clearer error handling. Which is helping us finding root causes for your crashes and any problems occured.
Take a lood and read our last Development Status #97 if you haven't got a chance:
Update also includes:
- further AI optimisations
- restored Texture Streaming
- reduced memory usage
- another extensive sound rework covering vehicle engines, weapons, impacts and distant battlefield audio
- Orders Menu slightly improved UI/UX
- Quartermaster interface and User Reporter have also received improvements
- alongside numerous fixes for procedural missions, multiplayer, objective zones, vehicles and UI behaviour
Still on Sale
Friendly reminder that we are still on a sale until 22/10/2026. Our finances are in a very bad state, and this move could save us before the Ponyri DLC is released. Feel free to grab game on -35% sale now.
