TankFall Arena Demo 0.0.6 Now Live
The latest TankFall Arena demo update is now available during Steam Next Fest.
This update introduces the brand-new Frag Bomb weapon, expands AI capabilities, improves gameplay responsiveness, and includes multiple quality-of-life improvements across the project.
New Weapon: Frag Bomb
The demo arsenal has expanded from 3 weapons to 4 weapons.
Frag Bomb is a bouncing explosive projectile that can be used for:
- Direct explosive attacks
- Ricochet-based shots
- Area denial
- Corner pressure
- Multi-fragment explosions
This weapon introduces an entirely new playstyle compared to Standard, Laser, and Minigun.
Major AI Improvements
The AI has received one of its largest upgrades so far.
Defensive Movement Improvements
- Improved projectile dodging
- Better responses to multiple incoming threats
- Reduced ineffective spinning and twitching
- Smarter survival decisions
DevTool Improvements (Demo)
The in-game DevTool has been expanded and polished.
Improvements
- DevTool now starts collapsed by default
- Improved weapon and utility slot controls
- Apply-All functionality
- Improved layout and readability
Gameplay & Audio Improvements
Several gameplay systems received additional polish.
Fixes
- Improved round result screen audio handling
- Improved game result screen audio behavior
- Improved pause menu audio behavior
- Multiple gameplay bug fixes
- General stability improvements

TankFall Arena remains actively in development.
