The Survivalists Patch Live & Announcing The Escapists 3!

Hey Survivalists!

Today, we have an exciting double announcement! Firstly, we've just announced The Escapists 3 in the triple i showcase! In The Escapists 3, you'll plan ridiculous prison breaks, outsmart the guards, and escape your way. To celebrate this game announcement, we've just released a patch for The Survivalists, fixing issues for both the base game and the recent Frostbite Fortress DLC. The Survivalists - Patch Notes

FIXES & TWEAKS

A large batch of fixes and improvements across various areas of the game, including:

Base Game

• General stability improvements.
• The Opulent Curio achievement now unlocks correctly whenever the golden statue is crafted.
• Fixed an issue where the player character could sink into rafts and die in deep water.
• Fixed an issue where the player character’s death location was not always marked correctly on the map.
• Prevented the raft from leaving the map boundaries under certain circumstances.
• Restored player character footstep sound effects that went missing in the previous update.
• Fixed an issue where quick-saving could allow the raft to pass through land.
• Immunity consumables, such as Clean Water, Hot Tea and Elixir, now remain active after saving and loading.
• Improved the descriptions of the Beast Master’s taming tasks. They now clearly state that creatures must be brought to the Beast Master’s animal pen.
• Visual effects in hazardous areas, such as volcanoes and snow, now correctly disappear after drinking the appropriate antidote. They also no longer disappear incorrectly after saving and loading.
• Fixed an error message that could appear after digging under a chest spawned on a Swamp Island puddle.
• Fixed several minor graphical glitches, including missing tiles.

Frostbite Fortress DLC

• Burning Charm now properly damages Frostbite enemies.
• Fixed an issue where potion tooltips could get stuck on the pause screen.
• The Mammoth Labyrinth is now correctly marked on the map after obtaining the key.
• Increased the throw damage of the Colorite Spear, which was unintentionally too low.
• The Teleporter and Frostbite Portal now have distinct icons on the map.

The Escapists 3 Announcement

The Escapists 3 is a prison escape sandbox where you can dig, sneak, climb, fight, disguise yourself and improvise your way to freedom. Alone or with friends! We've just announced the third The Escapists game and the fourth in the franchise, coming 2027 for Steam.

Key Features - The Escapists 3:

Prison has rules, you have other plans: Learn the routine and watch the guards, take jobs and earn cash, swipe whatever isn’t nailed down and turn everyday junk into the beginnings of an escape plan.

Escape your way: Every prison is a system waiting to be understood, exploited and very badly outsmarted. Dig beneath the walls, climb your way out or find another route entirely.

Rubbish can become your freedom: Search cells, trade with inmates and complete jobs to get your hands on supplies. Almost anything can become part of an escape plan. Whether it should…that’s another question.

Five Prisons with plenty of bad ideas: Break out of five distinctive prisons. Lose yourself in dense forests, climb across gusty canyons, explore ancient catacombs and find your way across dangerous waters.

Better with Accomplices: Try and escape solo or team up with friends. Play with two players in local split-screen, or take your escape online with up to four. Divide the jobs, play to each other's strengths, coordinate the timing and execute the perfect prison break… and discover which of your friends is useless with a shovel.
