What's New

Meet Cage, the fifth playable suit. Fly anywhere with an anti-gravity rotors, fire laser guided homing rockets and launch charged Vortex shots. Supporter Suits are here: each suit now has an optional premium skin you can buy and wear straight away from the suit kiosk. Scrapspine Ridge is a new encounter in Campaign 7. Climb over a giant titan spine rising from an energy sea, cross floating islands and fight through three arenas. Breakable loot boxes have a fresh new look. A Join Discord button in the Hub takes you straight to the community.

Improvements

The Hub loads much faster, so you spend far less time waiting in the black. Enemy shots now burst into smoke where they hit scenery, which makes firefights easier to read and lighter on performance. You now hear the wind rush past you, and it grows louder the faster you run, glide or fly. Blink's linked discs now crackle with sound while the energy arc between them is active. Multiplayer runs more smoothly thanks to optimisations to how game data is sent between players.

Bug Fixes

Fixed some players (rare) being stuck on the health warning screen, unable to start the game, when their room setup was off centre. Fixed Hunter's bow sometimes staying drawn after you let go of it. Mugs in the seasonal Hubs now sync properly, so other players see you pick them up. Items no longer fall through tables or the floor when you grab them and let go without pulling. Thrown and dropped items now come to rest in the same place for every player. Previewed skins and themes you didn't buy no longer stay on your suit after you leave the suit kiosk. Fixed Hunter's arm jittering. The birds flying past in cutscenes can be heard again. Fixed flickering text on toggle buttons and wrong colours on the cursor and colour picker. Fixed Steam Frame players on PC being unable to jump. Steam Frame controllers on PC now use their own button layout and tuned vibration. Fixed player names showing as "Unknown" on Steam Frame.
