Big Update: support fleets, galaxy bookmarks and the Fleet Launch event
v0.462.0 (Sep 29) -> v0.495.1 (Oct 3)
Thank you for the first week of Early Access! Here is everything that changed since launch.
New
- Defend your own colonies and your allies: stationed support fleets now fight when the planet is attacked, get their own battle report and can be recalled from War Center > Attacks.
- Galaxy map bookmarks: save up to 50 planets and players, shown as gold pins on the map and minimap.
- Spy intel on the galaxy map: planets you spied in the last 72 hours show an eye marker with your latest report.
- The galaxy map now highlights the planet you selected with a white ring.
- On desktop, the planet popup on the galaxy map can be dragged so its buttons are never cut off.
- Attack dialog: "Quick pick" ship shortcuts, and VIP players can load their Farm Assistant presets A/B/C directly.
- Fleet Launch live event (running until Oct 5): event tasks, a reel spinner and exclusive skins (Admiralty Prime, Launch Falcon, Ace Pilot) at 5 / 25 / 60 spins.
- Identical inventory items now stack, with an "Activate all" button.
- The Combat Calculator is now easy to find.
- You can hide the tutorial guide from settings or from the Governor bubble. Your progress and rewards are kept.
- Tutorial steps you completed out of order can now be claimed from Briefing.
- Forging a rift artifact now tells you what you made and where it went, and equips it automatically so its stats apply right away.
- Rift choices that can drop a schematic are now labelled.
- Deuterium Core T3 can now be crafted: its schematic drops from the high rift "enter the eye" choice (5% chance; damage on that choice 60 -> 55).
Balance
- Bazar NPC exchange now trades at resource value (Metal : Crystal : Deuterium = 1 : 1.5 : 3) minus a 30% fee. Every direction costs the same; before, it paid 1/3 of what you gave in every direction.
- Bazar NPC exchange now also costs 2 SC per started 1,000 resources given, with limits of Marketplace level x 1,000 per trade and Marketplace level x 5,000 per day.
- The 1:1 SC exchange in the Bazar has been removed. The NPC exchange replaces it.
- Speed-up prices now follow one smooth curve: 5 min 40 SC, 30 min 100 SC, 4 h 240 SC, 24 h 720 SC, minimum 25 SC (before: a flat 50 SC for anything up to 30 minutes).
- Shield domes no longer make a planet impossible to win against. They still absorb shots, but they no longer decide the outcome of a battle.
- Wild planets in your home system now match the strength of the players living there instead of the strongest one, and can scale down as well as up.
- Early wild planets (levels 1-3) now only appear on orbits 4-12, so they can be colonized without high Astrophysics. Existing wild planets were not moved.
- Strike Coordinator and Aegis Coordinator are now limited to one of each per player across all planets.
- Hard rift ship packs now drop on the first 2 hard runs per day only. Later runs keep their normal loot.
- Fleet Launch event: capacity crates 3% / 5% / 10% -> 1% / 3% / 5%, crate size is based on storage up to level 8, and SC spins are limited to 20 per day (free and token spins are not limited).
Shop
- Shop prices are now shown in the currency you actually pay with, and only real sales show a crossed-out price.
- A new reward screen after every purchase shows exactly what you received.
- Shop and purchase texts are now available in all 16 game languages.
Fixes
- Rewards that do not fit in your storage are no longer lost: the extra goes into a resource pack in your inventory.
- Wheel spins and resource packs no longer destroy resources you already had stored.
- Auto-Claim now grants the day-7 items and Commander XP.
- Removed social task rewards and a master bonus that were shown but never paid out.
- Other players now see your in-game nickname instead of your Telegram or Steam name.
- Other players now see the character skin you have equipped.
- Fleet dispatch ETA, max loot and fuel now match the server, and the dispatch panel shows round-trip fuel.
- Bazar trade flights now use the universe fleet speed.
- The NPC fleet speed boost now applies to harvest missions on wild planets.
- Spy reports no longer go missing in the Reports tabs.
- Battle reports said 20% of defenses rebuild; the correct value is 70%.
- Combat and fleet reports show whole resource units.
- The Bazar Marketplace limit is now checked per side, not on the sum of both sides.
- Every rift run now counts toward daily and weekly rift missions and live event tasks.
- The unreachable expedition tutorial step is now optional, so chapter 11 and the completion bonuses unlock.
- Claimed wild planets and new homeworlds now have the correct storage limits.
- Cancelling a build now works correctly.
- You can now station defenses on your own colonies from the mobile planet panel.
- The fleet Send button no longer hides behind the mobile bottom bar.
- The farm preset editor lists every raid ship.
- Clicking planets on the galaxy map works reliably again, including when planets overlap.
- The mouse wheel scrolls panels over the galaxy map instead of zooming the map.
- Switching planets is faster and no longer reloads the whole screen or the galaxy map.
- Fortune wheel labels stay inside their segments on mobile.
- The game explains why colonizing is blocked, including the Astrophysics orbit rule.
- Alliance join errors are translated, and the 24h alliance cooldown is explained instead of a bare "Failed".
- Rift scenario texts are now translated.
- The commander name screen comes prefilled with a valid name, so you can continue right away.
- Desktop: the fullscreen / windowed toggle is back in the top bar.
- Patch notes links open correctly and show the right date on iPhone.
- Better stability: the game shows a retry screen instead of failing during server hiccups, reconnects faster after losing connection, and loads noticeably faster overall.
