Crash Fixes

We've been working on several major crash fixes as reported by everyone and are working on improving game stability.

While we have tested these crash fixes, we will be closely monitoring the game to see if these crashes have gone away, as many of these crashes occur randomly and under very unique situations.

• Possible crash fix for Lobby/Arcade interactions
• This crash was reported as the most common Plaza-related crash reported to us. It happens when Arcade or Boardwalk games are played or active and randomly will lead to a sudden crash.

Possible crash fix for Condo IO pasting

• This crash addressed empty item handlers when pasting Condo IO inputs from one item to another.

Possible crash fix regarding Steam player state

• This crash involved scoreboards (tab menu) / players leaving.

Possible crash fix for third person camera

• This crash involved seats and third person.

We also have added a message box that should appear should the game crash due to PAK Decompression failure, caused by a corrupted PAK file, providing instructions on how to Validate your Game Files. PAK is how the game's data is stored when you download it from Steam. Tower will now inform you if your game installation is damaged and show you how to resolve it.

Optimizations

• Optimized Tower Unite's voice system to improve player FPS. Voice chat will perform better in both Plazas and Condos
• Plaza: Optimized Candy Slam so that less happens on the game's tick, improving performance
• Plaza: Optimized Ice Cave so that less happens on the game's tick, improving performance

Bug Fixes

• Plaza: Fixed the Monorail rubber connector from sometimes stretching across the map to the origin
• Plaza: Fixed an edge case in Roll and Race that would cause improper behavior
• Plaza: Fixed an edge case on the Ferris Wheel that would cause carriages to swing by themselves if players left the Ferris Wheel by disconnecting or joining a minigame
• Plaza: Fixed an unintended nerf to "bug" spawn rate in Bug Bytes for player 1's seat
• Plaza: Fixed pumpkins being underground near the area around the back of the casino
• Plaza: StackEm's block spawning behavior now behaves like it did before previous game update
• Added "Multimesh" tag to Victorian Dining Chair, Victorian Wardrobe, Halloween Paper Cut-Outs, and Mad Scientist Lever
• Laser Pointer's beam now displays again (currently in thirdperson only)
• Fixed Lacey Parasol and Light Source hotbar items not appearing in the correct store categories
