Learn the essentials! Perfect for new players or veterans looking to sharpen their skills.

• 31 Steps Across 13 Chapters: Covers basics & movement, gear management, combat fundamentals (attack, dash, parry, shield guarding), weapon archetypes, and survival loops (potions, leveling, map navigation, shrine revives).
• Dynamic Checklist & Input-Aware Cards: Each step appears as an on-screen card that ticks off actions as you complete them and automatically advances once finished.
• Adaptive Controller & K&M Support: Button prompts dynamically update to your active input device or custom controller layout. If you switch devices mid-run, steps adjust seamlessly.
• Dedicated Map & Safe Profile Sandbox: Takes place on a standalone custom map using a temporary character, ensuring your existing saves are never affected.
• One-Time Profile Reward: Complete the entire tutorial in a single run to earn 1 Hero Point, which can be spent at the Spellbook on the start screen to permanently boost all characters on your save slot!

Feature Update: Video Settings & Upscaling Support (DLSS & FSR)

Comprehensive support for modern AI upscaling, frame generation, low-latency tools, and advanced graphics settings.

• NVIDIA DLSS Support (RTX Series): Includes Off, DLAA, Quality, Balanced, Performance, and Ultra Performance modes.
• NVIDIA Reflex: Automatically applies behind the scenes whenever NVIDIA Frame Generation is active to lower input latency.
• AMD FSR Support (Universal GPU): Includes Off, Native AA, Quality, Balanced, Performance, and Ultra Performance modes.
• FSR Sharpness: Adds post-upscale sharpening control (0 turns it off).
• Auto-Detection: On a fresh profile, the game detects your GPU and sets an optimal default technology. You can, of course, adjust these settings at any time. Enabling DLSS automatically disables FSR and vice versa.
• Frame Generation (switching technologies requires a game restart) :
• DLSS Frame Gen: Requires NVIDIA RTX 40-Series or newer (includes 3x/4x modes for 50-Series GPUs).
• FSR Frame Gen: Universal support across NVIDIA (including RTX 20/30-Series), AMD, and Intel GPUs.

Dynamic UI & Hardware Recognition: Unsupported hardware options are clearly greyed out rather than hidden. Active upscalers automatically display true internal rendering resolution readouts while locking standard Anti-Aliasing to AI Driven .

Note: Given the vast variety of PC hardware configurations, we recommend tweaking these options to find the perfect balance between FPS and visual clarity for your specific setup.

• Improved First-Time Launch: Fresh profiles default to Borderless Windowed at your monitor’s native resolution to prevent off-screen window bugs.
• Seamless Window Scaling: Switching to Windowed mode automatically scales the window to half your desktop resolution so title bars remain accessible and draggable across multiple monitors.
• Smart Video Reset: Clicking "Reset" in Video settings cleanly resets your screen mode back to native Borderless Windowed.
• Updated Settings Controls: Expanded tooltips and settings for Resolution, Display Modes, Frame Rate Cap, VSync, Motion Blur, Quality Presets, View Distance, Post Processing, Shadows, Textures, Effects, Foliage, Bloom, Render Scale, and Anti-Aliasing (TAA, TSR, FXAA).

Performance Optimizations

• Monster LOD & Physics Optimization: Polygon counts (LODs), cloth physics, and simulated bone animations now scale down dynamically based on distance from the camera, ensuring smoother framerates in dense encounters.

Localization

• Updated translations based on community reports.
