VMX Halloween Update — Night Maps, New Tricks & Limited-Time Rewards!

Halloween has arrived in VMX, and things are looking a little different around the parks!

We're bringing some spooky vibes to your favorite riding spots, introducing new tricks, expanding Freestyle Mode, and giving you something special to hunt down while you're riding.

We've also added a brand-new Daily Login Bonus, alongside gameplay improvements and fixes!

Ride Into the Night

Four of our maps have received brand-new nighttime variants:

• Docks
• Gutters
• Miami
• Stoke Valley

We've also given the Workshop a spooky Halloween makeover!

Whether you're practicing tricks or riding with your crew, it's time to experience some familiar spots in a completely different atmosphere.

Limited-Time Halloween Balloon Event

We've scattered special Halloween balloons around the maps for you to find!

Track them down, pop them, and work toward earning event rewards.

We've also made the balloons a little easier to locate, as unpopped balloons now emit a sound to help guide you toward them.

New Tricks — Superman & Seatgrab Superman!

We've added two new tricks to the lineup:

• Superman
• Seatgrab Superman

And that's not all!

Freestyle Mode has also received an upgrade, allowing you to grab your deck, seat, or tire while you're in the air with your feet off the frame or deck.

Time to get creative with those lines!

Daily Login Bonus

We've introduced a brand-new Daily Login Bonus tab!

Log in each day to claim $100 in-game currency, giving you a little extra cash to spend on your setup.

The daily bonus resets at 12 PM UTC, so make sure to check back each day!

Improvements & Fixes

Alongside the Halloween content, we've also made several improvements.

Changes

• Your free hand no longer affects tailwhip movement when it's off the handlebars.
• Added occlusion culling to improve rendering efficiency.
• Made minor adjustments to tailwhip animations.
• Increased nametag resolution for improved clarity.
• Added a small minimum duration threshold to time-based tricks, such as Seatgrab, to reduce incorrect trick detections.

Fixes

• Fixed a one-handed Freestyle animation issue that caused your arms to change length.
• Fixed an issue where Freestyle Mode positioned the handlebars further away than intended.
• Fixed incorrect nametag parallax when viewed up close.
• Fixed server browser usernames overflowing when a username is too long
