[School-Wide Announcement] 10,000+ Players on Day 1! Emergency Repairs Completed
Funcore Games
Dear Teachers and Students,
Hello everyone!
We honestly never expected this—just yesterday, on our very first day of the Demo launch, over 10,000+ players downloaded and hopped into the game!
Seeing the dashboard stats blew our minds; the entire dev team was both thrilled and incredibly humbled. A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave the demo a spin and showed us love!
At the same time, we received a mountain of constructive feedback, hilarious critiques, and bug reports. We know the game is far from perfect right now, and we are diligently logging every single issue to roll out fixes as fast as we can.
We have just pushed the Demo 0.1.4 update. Here are the fixes and optimizations included:
- Optimized the loading and refresh speed of the "Room List";
- Improved the onboarding tutorial and updated localization/translations;
- Optimized code performance and addressed several random crashing issues;
- Fixed a bug where matches might not end after all students were caught;
- Fixed an issue where the loading progress bar could freeze when joining a room;
- Fixed a bug where classroom desks and chairs occasionally failed to load after class started;
- Fixed an issue where custom keybinds might randomly reset or fail to apply;
- Fixed a bug causing players to unexpectedly teleport or spawn on different floors;
- Fixed an issue where volume slider adjustments sometimes did not take effect.
We will keep polishing and pushing frequent updates based on your feedback to ensure your multiplayer experience gets smoother and smoother!
If you're having fun with the game, please don't forget to add the full game to your Steam Wishlist! Every single wishlist gives our small indie team a massive boost to make the final release the best it can be.
Thank you all, and have fun playing!
