17 Steps is preparing for a major update—a completely new, standalone game mode is set to launch.

Your HP decides the winner

Forget the scoreboard. In Blood Battle Mahjong, every winning hand is a real attack. Your opponent has an HP bar, and so do you. The higher the han value, the heavier the damage. Only when your opponent’s HP drops to zero can you claim true victory.

Choose your character

This new mode introduces a character system. Every character comes with a unique foundation and a distinct playstyle—

• Some are tough and resilient, relying on small hands to wear opponents down over time;
• Some specialize in manipulating the table, rewriting their own tiles;
• Some can draw extra reserve tiles, expanding their options;
• Some focus on scouting, exposing the opponent’s hidden information;
• And some become more dangerous the longer the game drags on, turning every draw into a set of fangs...

Different characters mean completely different battle strategies.

Unlock and grow

Not every character will be available from the start. As you keep playing and complete various conditions, new faces will gradually join your roster. Every character has their own unique path to unlock.

As the match progresses, each character’s expression will change with the state of battle. When they strike, win, or fall, the face across the table will tell you where the game is heading.
