Anymaker

Major Update 1 - The Catalog and Sleeping Update!

Geometa

Dear Makers,

This is our first major update since Anymaker released into Early Access six weeks ago. A huge thank you to everyone who has been playing, publishing creations on the Workshop and sending in feedback. A lot of what is in this update comes directly from that feedback.

There is now a parts and items catalogue! When playing in sandbox or creative dome, the inventory now features a searchable and grouped catalogue on the right, making it much easier to find the parts you want, rather than having to search the boxes.

We have added sleeping. Use a bed, and if all players are in a bed, time will accelerate. Simply exit the bed for time to resume at normal speed.

Items now remember where in the hotbar they were when dropped - this means that when you pick them back up, they resume their slot. This also works with containers, so for example, if you drop your backpack then pick it back up, it will also restore the hotbar for the items in the backpack. This can be very useful for switching modes, for example different building or survival kits.

The new "require" block in microcontrollers allows you to have optionally connected components. Previously, your microcontroller would error if a dismountable component was disconnected (for example, using the data interface). Now you can add a "require" block, and the contents of that block is only active while the required element is connected.

There are many fixes in this update as well. Please see the patch notes below for full details.

We will carry on reacting to your feedback with hotfixes, and work is already underway on the next major update.

We hope you enjoy this new update!

Much love <3
