Demo Update — Stage 2's New Road, Divine Resonance
New
- Stage 2's new road — Stage 2 is now a single long road climbing to the gate. Starting from the East Road Watchpost, you walk through nine sections — Chapel Hill, Zealots' Siege Camp, The Forgotten Graveyard, Millbrook, Crypt Beneath the Wall, The Burning Lower Town and The Bridgehead — up to Before the Shattered Gate, where you face Varhold. Three new places stand along the road.
- Trebuchet — Strike the trebuchet aiming at your party to take it, and it hurls its stones into the horde instead.
- Chained Rift — Break its three chains and it draws the nearby horde in, then snaps shut and bursts.
- Banner of the Fallen Garrison — Sound the horn and the dead garrison charges down the road as a ghostly shield wall.
Divine Resonance — In a party, when one player uses their god's ultimate, Resonance opens for 10 seconds and other party members can join with their own ultimate. With 2, 3 or 4 players in Resonance, damage dealt rises by 10/20/30% until the transformation ends, and each player strikes the area around them once more with extra force. Next-section guide — On the Stage 1 and 2 road maps, while the next section is waiting, its spot is marked in gold on the minimap, and the current section's name now changes under the minimap.
Changes
- Stage 2 story — Reworked dialogue, now fully voiced in English with subtitles in 13 languages.
- Harder from Stable 10 — Levels 1–9 are unchanged; from level 10 on, monster health and attack rise more steeply.
- Stage 2 combat — The early monsters that rush in and self-destruct now hit harder, and the blast looks like an explosion. Early monsters have a little more health (the last wave is unchanged).
- Stage 1 Stranger — If your hero is far away, the Stranger walks over and speaks to you on screen.
- Stage 1 road map — Better frame rates in crowded sections, and lanterns on the wooden bridges.
- Voice — Three more wave-end lines for each hero.
- Mailbox — Notice mail is easier to read.
Fixes
- Controls stayed locked after reconnecting in a party.
- Cancelled or expired party applications could not be sent again.
- Some achievements were not granted — clear achievements are now checked again in the lobby.
- The Marketplace showed "nothing for sale" even when matching listings were further back.
- Aether's Constellation Link, Star Sanctuary, Supernova and Relic Orbit did not work as intended in some situations.
