COTR - A New Philosophy | The Next Major Update (0.7.0)

Hello everyone,

First of all, we'd like to thank everyone who has played COTR and taken the time to share their feedback.

As we mentioned in our previous development update, we've continued to carefully review every piece of feedback from our community. During this process, we realized that simply fixing bugs wouldn't be enough.

Some of the game's core systems need to be rethought from the ground up.

Because of this, we've started a new development phase for COTR.

A New Philosophy

Update 0.7.0 is not just another content update.

It represents a new design philosophy for the game.

Our goal isn't only to fix the current issues but to build an experience that feels smoother, more intuitive and ultimately more enjoyable to play.

From day one, our vision has remained the same: to make COTR a game that players genuinely enjoy spending time with.

What's Changing?

Here are some of the major areas we're currently working on:

• Redesigning core gameplay mechanics.
• Rebuilding problematic systems based on community feedback.
• Reworking or replacing mechanics that don't provide a satisfying gameplay experience.
• Improving the overall game flow to make it more intuitive and engaging.
• Enhancing the overall feel and quality of the gameplay.

Some systems will receive significant improvements while others are being rebuilt entirely from scratch.

We Need a Little More Time

To deliver these changes at the quality we want, we need a little more time.

We don't want to rush out quick fixes that only solve problems temporarily.

Instead, we're focusing on delivering a major update that will put COTR on a much stronger foundation for the future.
