You probably thought things couldn’t get any stranger than a saxophone playing rat…well, guess what? We actually saved the weirdest for last!
Ever met an alien with a machine gun? Well now you have! MEET SATURN, a little flying alien with a UFO’s worth of confidence and absolutely zero interest in walking.
Saturn’s controls are somewhat conventional:
Press shoot to fire his hit scan machine gun straight ahead.
Press jump to fire straight down instead.
Sounds pretty simple, until you realise you have to watch for his ammo bar floating above his head. No spraying bullets without consequences in this game!
Don’t worry, the weird part is coming…
Saturn can use ABDUCT!
Summon a tractor beam beneath, sucking up just about anything he can get away with, enemies, coins, props…if it fits the beam, it’s fair game.
Everything you abduct earns EXP, which means you can level up mid-run, boosting your ammo capacity, fire rate, and firepower! A true extra-terrestrial menace.
If your strategy plan is ‘take everything valuable and shoot the rest’ then Saturn is the hero for you!
And there you have it, that’s all the heroes in Dark Scrolls! Which one are you taking into the dungeon first?
