The Day 31 demo has been updated for Next Fest.
The dead move differently now. They come at mixed speeds and try to surround you. They climb over what's in your way and drop down after you. You can shove them off. You can knock them down.
There are machines in the halls, stamped VESSEL. Walk up and one opens. It sells attachments for the gun in your hands, and health. The menu shows the part and the gun it fits. Buy a sight once and it stays yours for the run.
New parts: holographic sights, micro red dots, a 4x scope with a canted red dot you can tilt to, a 6x scope for the Mk14, grips, suppressors, and a light for the revolver.
Also: blood that pools and gets tracked through the halls, rebuilt menus with full controller support and rebinding, smoother performance in the hospital lobby, and a fix for zombies pushing players through walls.
Spending nerve on guns is spending the will that keeps you human.
You can't win. You can only last.
