Developer Note: About Future Updates

At the moment, updates for Deadly Trick have been significantly delayed. We know that many of you have been waiting, and we sincerely ask for your understanding.

The main reason larger updates have not been released more frequently is that we need a considerable amount of time to build the foundations required for future content.

The biggest pieces of content we are currently preparing are a new map and a new character.

For the new map, we are currently testing new features and mechanics while also proceeding with the outsourcing process required to bring the map to completion. This map is being designed around an island setting, with a mechanic that allows players to travel between areas by boat.

Our main focus is to make clues appear more naturally throughout gameplay than on the existing map, while also allowing players to attempt Deadly Tricks in a wider variety of ways by making use of the map's structure and mechanics.

We are also working on the ability for the new character. Currently, we are exploring an ability that involves moving a spirit and then switching the player's position to its location. However, as this is still in development and testing, the final ability may change before release.

As for the character design, scheduling issues arose during our collaboration with an external illustrator, so the design is currently still at the rough sketch stage. We do not yet have a finished image that we can show, but the character is shaping up to have a cheerful and cute appearance.

Most of the new content is currently being developed using temporary assets and rough sketches, so it is difficult for us to share images right away. However, as soon as the content reaches a state where we can properly show it to you, we will share more of the development process and upcoming content.

Preparing this content takes more time than we initially expected.

In return, we will do our best to make the wait worthwhile by delivering a new map with more expanded mechanics and gameplay possibilities than the current map, along with a new character and new ways to enjoy the game.

Alongside the development of new content, we are also continuing to review the many suggestions for improvement that you have sent us. We will continue working in parallel on improving the overall gameplay experience, adjusting areas that need changes, and fixing bugs.

Once again, thank you to everyone who has been waiting for these updates. We sincerely appreciate your patience for just a little longer.

Improvements

- The second eliminated player can now also receive additional awards.

- Player ping is now displayed, allowing you to check network conditions.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue where the second player could not be properly investigated if they were eliminated at the same time a body was discovered.

- Investigation is now limited to weapons that were actually used in the incident.

We will continue to quickly improve inconvenient aspects of the game based on your feedback.

Thank you sincerely to everyone who plays the game and sends us valuable reports and feedback!
