Multiplayer Improvements
- Improved multiplayer performance, especially in sessions with more players.
- Reduced unnecessary network traffic for distant and inactive objects.
- Optimized Sea Scooter synchronization for smoother movement on weaker connections.
- Improved Harpoon and fishing-related synchronization.

- Improved Fish Trophy synchronization and reduced unnecessary data transfers.
- Optimized distant fish simulation to reduce server workload without affecting visual quality.
- Reduced unnecessary restaurant simulations when players are far away.
- Improved state correction to reduce sudden snapping and teleporting.
- Improved stability for players with slower or less reliable internet connections.
- Reduced unnecessary processing and network updates in both solo and multiplayer sessions.
- Fixed an issue where the squid ink effect could remain permanently on players in multiplayer.
- Fixed an issue where serving trays could disappear or become non-interactable after the player carrying one disconnected and rejoined.
Save System Improvements
- Added automatic rolling backups for save slots, player profiles, and game settings.
- Added automatic save recovery when the main save file becomes damaged or incomplete.
- Improved protection against save corruption caused by crashes or interrupted writes.
- Save files are now validated before replacing the previous working version.
- Damaged files are preserved separately instead of being immediately overwritten.
- The game now prevents automatic saving over an unrecoverable save file.
- Added safer handling for older saves and missing save data.
- Corrupted save slots are now detected and safely blocked until deleted or recovered.
- Improved save deletion to prevent removed slots from being unintentionally restored from old backups.
- Existing save files remain fully compatible with the updated system.
Restaurant & Customer Improvements
- Customers will no longer place a second order.
- Opened tables can now be closed again.
- Empty items, trash, and dirty trays can now be discarded without a confirmation prompt.
Controls
- Added a separate Rapid Press keybind for button-mashing actions used during the Fish Challenge and Shark Punch.
- The default key remains Left Click.
- Changing this keybind will no longer affect other Left Click controls.
- The keybind can be changed from Settings → Controls → Rapid Press.
Loading & Stability
- Fixed an issue that could cause errors while loading certain game content.
- Improved the loading and activation behavior of the Dressing Scene.
- Improved overall stability in release builds.
Thanks for all your reports and feedback! We’ll continue improving multiplayer stability, performance, and the overall Deep Blue Sushi experience.
