Patch 0.3.3 — Jumpscare Reworks, Improvements & Bug Fixes
Hey Plague Doctors,
While we continue working on the larger infrastructure transition and the major additions being built on top of it, we’re still bringing smaller improvements and bug fixes whenever possible.
Patch 0.3.3 focuses on reworked death jumpscares, voice chat improvements, boss behavior, audio adjustments, localization fixes, and several community reported issues.
New Jumpscares
Reworked several death jumpscares to make them more intense, terrifying, and visually impactful.
Improvements
Improved Voice Chat functionality. Improved boss behaviors and fixed various behavioral issues. Rebalanced audio levels across the Castle and Dungeon maps. Improved various interaction audio effects.
Localization Improvements
Fixed Korean font and text display issues that could prevent important gameplay information from appearing correctly, including key and door related instructions. Fixed Chinese font issues that could prevent certain text from displaying correctly. Fixed Japanese font issues that could prevent certain text from displaying correctly.
Voice over Note
Please note: In game story, instructional, and narrative text is currently text only in all supported languages and does not include voice over. Voice over support is planned for a full release.
Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue in Customization where owned outfits could still appear in sliders and be purchased again. Fixed an issue where interaction sounds could not be heard on the Castle map.
What’s Next?
As mentioned in our previous update, the larger infrastructure transition is still in progress. This work is important for the upcoming major update and will allow us to address deeper issues more effectively while expanding the game with much larger additions.
We’re continuing to work on the new lobby, new gameplay elements, new weapons, major system improvements, and more ways to make Devil of the Plague more fun and replayable.
Thank you for your patience, feedback, and continued support throughout Early Access. Every report and suggestion helps us improve the game.
More is on the way.
