Demo Update – New Music & Vinyls, Balance Changes, Bug Fixes & More!

Demo Update
Hey everyone! Another update for the Driving Rogue Demo is here!
This update brings a variety of visual improvements, balance changes, gameplay updates, new audio and music, as well as plenty of bug fixes across the game.
Speaking of bugs, if you run into any issues while playing, please let us know over on our Discord. Your reports help us a ton and are always greatly appreciated!
We also want to thank you all for the amazing support, feedback, suggestions, and contributions you've shared with us!
This update also features new music from two amazing artists, SaintLes and UnkRC. We’re incredibly happy to have their music in Driving Rogue, and we strongly recommend checking out more of their work!
Audio & Music
- Set up different ambient SFX for each biome.
- Added SFX for ability bar depletion.
- Added SFX for the timer running out.
- Added audio reverb when driving through tunnels.
- Updated OST player shuffling to prioritise tracks that haven't been played yet.
- Added "Mush Maze" by FilipeABG to the playlist.
- Added "Insomnia" by SaintLes to the playlist.
- Added "Starlight," "Spider," "Fantasy Crazy" and "Planetary" by UnkRC to the playlist.
- Added additional new songs to the playlist.
General Changes
- Updated score text throughout the game to use shortened and formatted values for very high scores.
- Updated the Driver Title selector so notification icons are cleared when hovering over them.
- Added a vehicle glitch-mode trigger when continuously colliding with another vehicle.
- Added new obstacle types to replace stationary vehicles from Stage 3 onward. Balancing
- Updated some cards with new effects and adjusted their parameters.
- Reduced the "Not Into It" mission target from 100,000 to 10,000.
- Increased vehicle braking power.
- Updated AI Racers with more balanced and challenging behaviour.
- Updated scoring parameters for some card effects.
- Updated score gain for each upgraded score level.
Art
- Updated the in-game HUD layout, rearranging elements across the screen.
- Updated Heal and Refill text positioning for vehicles.
- Added new vinyl sets for Shadow and Saber.
- Updated some screens with 16:9 limiters.
- Updated Low Quality graphics mode with increased light intensity.
Buf Fixes
- Fixed some VFX being incorrectly positioned around vehicles.
- Fixed "Strong as a Bull" mission logic not registering correctly.
- Fixed the "VIP Customer" card's negative effect not being ignored when required.
- Fixed a crash when exiting to the menu during the intro animation sequence.
- Fixed invisible collisions that could randomly cause the player to crash.
- Fixed card system calculations involving multiplier bonuses and negative-effect stacking.
- Fixed the Top Speed Duration stat not being saved correctly.
