Demo Update & Early Access Delay

Hello everyone, Noxen here.
I want to sincerely apologize for the delay. Normally, the Early Access version of the game should have been released around this time. However, I ran into quite a few unexpected issues that I needed to solve, which is why I can only release a new demo update today instead of the full Early Access build.
Even though I've fallen a bit behind schedule, I didn't want to present you with an Early Access version that was full of bugs.
Since I am developing this game entirely solo, I occasionally have to rebuild core mechanics to get them just right. Recently, I had to remake a lot of things from scratch, including the UI. In fact, I completely redesigned the entire UI twice during this process, which ended up taking a significant amount of development time.
I've listed the known bugs in the current demo below. I am actively working on these and will fix them as soon as possible to give you the cleanest demo experience I can.
Known Issues in the Current Demo:
- Multiplayer / Lobby: The lobby doesn't appear open when trying to hot-join via the Steam overlay (Shift+Tab).
- Multiplayer / UI: The "Join via Code" system and the Friends Menu in the server browser are currently bugged.
- Class Selection: Selecting the Mage class sometimes incorrectly spawns a Tank character.
- Health Sync: Client HP does not regenerate to 50% and gets stuck at 0 after death.
- Animation Sync: Gathering tool animations aren't syncing over the network; to other players, it looks like you are attacking with your regular weapon.
- Audio Issues: Sword sound effects are not properly assigned to the SFX channel, hit sounds are only playing locally, and fireball sound effects are completely missing for clients.
- Gameplay / Stamina: Running out of stamina currently does not force the character to stop sprinting.
- Camera & UI: The camera behavior needs some adjustments, and player nickname text needs to be properly centered.
Finally, I am saving the Character Attributes and Skill Tree systems for the actual Early Access release, so unfortunately, they won't be available in this demo. However, I am designing a great UI for them right now and plan to release the Early Access build in a few weeks (provided there are no further hiccups).
Thank you so much for your continued patience, support, and understanding.
Noxen
