Post-Launch Update for 2nd of August
Note: Urgent updates will not be translated to other languages
Patch notes
Card Changes
- Reinforce the Guard should now properly work with cards temporarily gaining Guardian
- Nalari Skyseeker now gives active mana when increasing your essences and mana limit, like Focus Point
- Numbing Sphere is now 3-cost (down from 5) and Once Per Turn
- Call of Darkness now Explores for an Undead instead of summoning a token
- Fixed a bug where Arfactus would not cause a hero to be defeated by damage
- Fixed a bug where Gloom Core would not summon a token if the field was full and the target was destroyed, clearing space for a token
UX Changes
- Fixed Explorer game mode starting out with no heroes
- Explorer mode no longer lets you pick heroes you don't own (Supporter bundle)
- Fixed card name when the Uniqueness prompt appears so it shows the card being replaced
- Fixed End Turn button colors on multiplayer
- You can now skip the card selection in Explorer, so your deck isn't forced to get useless cards
- You now get gold on loss, as long as you survived the minimum required time for rewards (60s)
- Added mouse/tap indicator for cards so players are aware they can zoom into them in the collection and in-game. This is due to many players not realizing this and struggling to read them
Other Changes
- Fixed some issues with the official server that could cause it to enter a bad state for all games until restart
- Servers default back to Mono instead of IL2CPP because IL2CPP is not giving the necessary debug info for fixing bugs. Servers will become considerably smaller in used disk space!
- Normal CPU now uses random moves among the positive moves it can do, rather than the worst one. The reason for this is because it feels like you're basically fighting a goldfish, it barely does anything interesting!
- Normal and Hard CPU now have stronger targeting logic!
