Fat Chance — Update 1.0.9
This update adds new items and a few surprises around the mansion, alongside camera options and multiplayer fixes. Thanks for playing the demo! Here’s what’s changed:
New Content
- Rats now have new behaviors and interactions to discover.
- Added cheese as a new item.
- Added throwable eggs that shatter on impact and make noise to distract enemies.
- Added the Reanimator syringe: inject yourself or a teammate to gain a temporary effect that revives them if they die while it is active. Some fatal traps still prevent revival.
- Added visual effects to make stunned enemies easier to identify.
- Added rat footsteps, squeaks, and body impact sounds.
Balance & Improvements
- Added a separate head bob strength setting.
- Added update notifications to the main menu and lobby.
- Rats no longer block players or enemies.
- Improved player ragdoll physics.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the slide sound repeating during a single dash.
- Fixed misleading connection errors when joining a lobby running a different game version.
- Fixed invulnerability failing to prevent certain instant-kill attacks.
- Fixed the Zombie Maid’s chase breathing continuing while she was stationary.
- Fixed hotbar slot animations when picking up and dropping items in co-op.
