Development Update #4: Cinematic Extractions and Pacific Mall Expansion

Hi everyone!

This update focuses on making the world feel more alive while improving one of the most important parts of every match extracting.

Extraction vehicles are now fully animated, driving away after a successful escape while players can spectate their getaway before switching to spectate other players. Outside Pacific Mall, the surrounding roads have been expanded with moving traffic, pedestrians, and additional environmental detail to create a much more immersive experience.

Alongside these additions, this update also includes improvements to extraction vehicles, door blockers, sound effects, the main menu, and a variety of gameplay fixes and polish.

Update Highlights

Cinematic Extraction Vehicles

Successful extractions are now more immersive than ever.

Extraction vans no longer disappear instantly. Instead, they drive away from the mall while players can spectate their getaway vehicle before automatically switching to any remaining teammates.

Extraction van doors can now also be opened and closed, making the vehicles feel much more interactive during the extraction process.

Pacific Mall Exterior Expansion

The area surrounding Pacific Mall has received a major overhaul.

Roads have been expanded with moving traffic, pedestrians now walk the sidewalks, and vehicles automatically turn on their headlights as evening approaches. These additions make the mall exterior feel far more alive while improving immersion throughout every match.
