House of the Lost: Revived on Steam Deck - What to Know
Valve hasn't run its official compatibility review for House of the Lost: Revived yet, so the Steam
Deck badge currently says "Unknown." We don't want that to put anyone off, so here's what we've done
and tested ourselves on Deck.
Made for the Deck's screen: The game's widescreen layout was designed around the Deck's native
1280×800 display, so it fills the screen with no black bars. The HUD sits in the corners, out of the
way of the room you're fighting in.
Full controller support, no setup: Movement, aiming, items, crafting and every menu work on the
Deck's controls straight away. On-screen prompts show controller buttons when you're using the
controller, never keyboard keys.
Smooth on the Deck: It holds a stable frame rate of around 50fps, well above Valve's 30fps
target. We're still working on improving this and hope to hit a locked 60 soon.
Bring a friend: Plug in a second controller and you're ready to challenge the House in local co-op.
Try it before you buy it: The free demo covers the house's first floor and its first boss.
Download it from the store page and see how it plays on your Deck.
Thanks for reading. We'll update this post as things change or when Valve completes its review.
We hope to see you in the House soon!
