New

• Relics: embers now buy relics. There are 39 of them across a tree, including Edge relics, Stillness relics for the idle blade, and relics that speed up the climb.
• Boss acts: every boss and warden fights in 2–3 acts, and each act adds a new skill
• Elite skills: all 30 elites have their own active and passive skills
• 40 new stats, each with its own cards
• 4 new skills: Burning Path, Live Wire, Tether and Long Arm, with the upgrades Overload and Long Reach
• Up to 10 skills at once, cast with keys 1–9 and 0
• Stage clock: 30 s per stage and 60 s on boss stages. If monsters are still standing when it runs out, the run is lost.
• HISTORY page: your last 100 runs, with each run's damage by source
• Auto-salvage: a filter that burns gear pickups you don't want
• Draft AUTO: picks a card for you by the PRIORITY you set, after a delay you choose
• Card videos: click an active card's video to watch it full size
• Settings: PAUSE IN BACKGROUND, DISPLAY MODE and an auto-cut DELAY. Hover any row to see what it does. The game version is shown on the Settings page.
• Demo: no more stage-100 wall, so the whole climb is playable

Changes

• Floors grow with the size of the crowd
• New HUD: the stats sit in a band across the top, and a new footer shows each skill's DPS above the hotbar
• Resting the cursor on the HUD hands the blade to AUTO-CUT
• The skill tree is redrawn: double-click to buy, right-click to refund, and resets are free. Ascending resets your level and skill tree.
• The forge, relics, ascension, achievements, codex and title screen are all redrawn and animated
• Each difficulty starts where the one below it ends
• A run can take at most 99 awakenings
• A single skill blow hits at most 100 monsters
• Forge prices are rebalanced (Edge, Greed, Heart, Whetstone, sword tiers)
• Cards and the forge show "DPS" instead of "overall power"
• New app icon

Fixes

• Save & Title no longer re-deals the card page
• A skill moved to another slot keeps its cooldown
• Numbers no longer split from their units across lines in any language
• All 28 translations were reviewed, and card descriptions outside English now match the current cards. Thai vowel and tone marks now sit on their letters.
