We are absolutely blown away by the incredible response this week. Mad King Redemption hit a peak of over 50,000 new players across all platforms! Whether you’ve been tackling couch co-op with a friend or solo, thank you for stepping up to redeem the kingdom.

Listening to Your Feedback & Bug Fixing

With so many of you absolutely blasting through all challenges, we’ve received a massive amount of feedback, bug reports, and balance suggestions.

We want to assure you: the team is actively listening, reviewing your posts, and hard at work on fixes.

Our top priority right now is tackling critical bugs, refining combat balance, and polishing performance. Updates are coming!

Updated Roadmap Leading to 1.0 (and Beyond)

We know you're eager to see what’s coming next for Aldermere. We are updating our internal schedule to account for your launch feedback and will soon share a revised content roadmap leading up to our 1.0 release.

While the current Early Access build features two full biomes and our first four heroes: Valraven, Branok, Darkblade, and Elowen; the path to 1.0 will introduce:

• Two New Biomes: Syl'Varis Forest & Ruins of Skygrave (plus the ultimate showdown in the Cloister of the Dragon).
• Four New Playable Heroes: Expanding the Brotherhood roster.
• New NPCs, Mounts, & Quests: More allies to upgrade your persistent run progression.
• Future Features: Native online multiplayer, PvP modes, and console expansions (Switch/PS5 planned for 2027).

Launching Soon: The Kickstarter Campaign

Unlike typical campaigns, this Kickstarter does not fund game development. Mad King Redemption is already live and fully playable today! Instead, this campaign is focused purely on exclusive physical collector items and unique extras.

Here is a quick look at what’s in store:

• Founder's Cosmetics: Kickstarter-exclusive in-game rewards.
• Physical Edition & Merch: Boxed physical copies, physical swag, plus a Vinyl + Orchestra Dream for soundtrack fans.
• SEGA Mega Drive Stretch Goal: If unlocked, we are building a true, ground-up remake for 1988 retro hardware (not a copy-paste!). Backers can opt for a digital ROM file, a boxed physical cartridge that runs on original hardware, or both.
