OVERDUE - Hotfix v1.05
In this update, we've focused on improving the overall gameplay experience, making navigation easier, and fixing several bugs reported by the community. Thank you for all your feedback. It really helps us make OVERDUE better!
What's New
Minimap on the Employee Tablet
This is the biggest addition in this update! We've listened to your feedback and added a small minimap to the employee tablet. It should now be much easier to navigate through the warehouse and figure out which direction you need to go.
Voice Chat Issue Indicator
A broken microphone icon will now appear in the bottom right corner of your screen whenever the game detects an issue with voice chat. This could mean that Vivox servers are experiencing problems or that something is wrong with your microphone.
New Main Menu Buttons
We've added new buttons to the main menu that allow you to easily report bugs and join our Discord server. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for the game, you can now share them with us more easily!
Changes & Improvements
Simplified Cart Controls
Grabbing and releasing the cart is now handled with a single button: E. We noticed that the previous keybinds weren't very intuitive, so this change should make interacting with carts much smoother.
Improved Shelf Visibility
Some sections in the Archives/Office biomes had shelves with packages that were too well hidden. We've adjusted their placement and visibility to make them easier to find.
Removed Ventilation in the Starting Biome
We've removed the ventilation system from the starting biome to prevent whatever might be lurking inside from attacking players too close to spawn.
Improved Physical Map
We've reworked the physical map in the game. Instead of displaying the exact shapes of sections, it now shows the possible paths connecting them. This should make the map much cleaner and easier to read.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a Crash in the Abandoned Biome Fixed an issue where falling into the void with a cart in the Abandoned biome would cause the game to crash.
- Fixed Anomaly Pathfinding in Archives/Office Fixed several disconnected areas in the Archives/Office biome that prevented anomalies from reaching certain locations, causing them to get stuck or freeze in place.
- Fixed Line of Sight Through Glass Fixed incorrect glass layers that caused anomalies requiring eye contact to continue moving even when players were looking directly at them through glass.
Thank You for Your Support!
If you encounter any bugs or have ideas for future improvements, feel free to share them on our Discord server.
See you in the warehouse!
