Hello, card duelists!
New tactical skills have arrived in Phantom Cardia: Astral Card Duel, and the Playtest is now open. Experiment with your deck, challenge a friend, or join forces against supercharged Bosses!
Seven tactics. Which two will you bring?
Before battle, choose two skills from Cheer, Persuade, Gamble, Regroup, Cleanse, Group Heal, and Seal. Each equipped tactic can be used once per battle.
Cheer on a key minion, try to persuade an opponent's strongest unit, or save your healing and sealing skills for a crucial turn. A different pair of tactics can give the same deck a fresh way to play.
What you bring and when you use it can change the outcome. Keep an eye on your opponent, too: they have tactics of their own!
The Playtest is open
Here's what you can explore in this test:
- The first three campaign chapters: including the prologue, with 24 Star Map nodes to explore as you recover lost memories.
- Six academies and 168 launch cards: collect cards, refine your deck, and develop your favorites through fusion and progression.
- Roguelike Adventure: face randomized trials, choose routes and upgrades, and experiment with different approaches.
- Astral Arena: unlocks after completing Chapter 1. Aim for seven wins before accumulating three losses.
- Free Battle: test new decks and tactical combinations against the AI whenever you like.
- Co-op Raid: fight beside an AI companion or a friend against the Blank Archive Keeper, Headmaster Everflame, and Saint of the Drowned Moon.
Challenge a friend or fight together
This Playtest supports Steam friend invites, private duels, and two-player online co-op.
Each of you brings a 30-card deck. Put your strategies to the test in a duel, or coordinate your cards and action order to trigger team combos and tackle the Boss's phase mechanics together. Defeat a Boss on Normal to unlock its Extreme challenge.
Share your discoveries
Which two tactics are your favorites? Have you found an unexpected combination? Which co-op Boss gave you and your friend the toughest fight?
Share your decks, match stories, and feedback in the community. If you run into a problem, please include the mode and what you were doing so we can investigate.
The Playtest uses separate save data. Test progress will not carry over to the full game.
