v0.6.9 - Demo Improvements and QOL Enhancements
New Content
Items:
Portable Biomass Compressor:
Cost: $500. Use: Compresses one enemy at a time to 75% of its original biomass. Produces a lot of noise and has a 15s cooldown per enemy.
Ark and Ship:
Added different sounds to all “PCs” (Bestiary, Shop, Nets...). Added new engine and ambient sounds to the ship. Added new lights in the biomass compression rooms and the artifact warehouse. Added new sound to the compression.
Player:
Holding down the "Q" key now allows objects to be thrown further.
Demo:
Finishing the demo (and meeting the quota) now transfers you to a room with your friends instead of sending you directly to the main menu. Failing to meet the quota now restarts the match instead of sending you to the main menu.
Changes
Save System:
Demo save files will now lock upon completion instead of being deleted. This allows progression to continue once the full game is purchased.
Bug Fixes & QoL
Improved player movement for clients. Improved artifact physics. Sonic Monster sometimes did nothing. Some enemies did not move upon spawning. Clicking reset options caused a crash on Linux. Improved reflections in Warehouse. Ship button cooldown did not always work. Travel cost was always 0. Net cooldown applied when an enemy escaped, regardless of whether the player had released the rope. Fixed several crashes caused by texture streaming. Fixed several crashes caused by level geometry. Fixed several crashes caused by light baking. Some items disappeared from the ship when returning to the Ark. Basketball did not respawn after being destroyed. Basketball scored points while held in hand. On some lower-end PCs, sounds played seconds late and all at once. Stunning an enemy trapped in a net caused a bug. Skin selection screen was too dark. Player voice did not alert enemies. Net charge in the UI remained even after changing items or dying. General optimizations and stability improvements.
