HALLOWEEN UPDATE – New Events, Skins, Transport Cart & More!

Things are getting spooky in Retail Rivals!

With this update, we're introducing a brand-new Seasonal Event System that will bring regularly rotating events and unique experiences to Retail Rivals!

You'll also discover exclusive Halloween cosmetics, a new transport cart, tons of new sound effects, improvements to employees, vending machines, Twitch Integration, and a redesigned main menu.

And of course, we already have some exciting news about what's coming next!

Brand-New Seasonal Event System!

This update lays the foundation for many future seasonal events in Retail Rivals!

From now on, different events will regularly change the gameplay experience.

To start, two event types are available:

Standard Event – The familiar Retail Rivals experience.

Halloween Event – Spooky surprises, special encounters, and a completely different atmosphere!

Halloween Is Here to Stay!

Here's what makes this system special:

The Halloween Event isn't limited to the Halloween season!

Events will automatically rotate every few days, allowing you to experience seasonal content even outside the actual holidays.

And this is only the beginning!

Get ready for Christmas and many more seasonal events in the future!

Different Events on Both Maps

Both maps feature their own unique Halloween events!

This means you'll encounter different surprises and situations depending on which map you're playing.

We don't want to spoil everything. You'll have to discover the surprises yourself!

Disable Events If You Prefer

Want to play without seasonal surprises?

No problem!

Seasonal events can be disabled through the Extra Settings.

New Anti-Spider Mode & Content Warning

Alongside the Halloween events, we've added a new content warning.

We understand that not everyone is comfortable with spiders or certain spooky elements.

That's why we've introduced an Anti-Spider Mode.

You can enable it:

• Before starting a game
• At any time through the settings

This gives you more control over how you experience Halloween in Retail Rivals.

Exclusive Halloween Crate – October 9–31!

Of course, Halloween wouldn't be complete without some spooky rewards!

From October 9 to October 31, a special Halloween Cosmetic Crate will appear in the game!

Inside, you can discover:

Brand-new full character skins

Special particle effects

Additional Halloween cosmetics

And even more spooky surprises!

Not a One-Time Event!

Don't worry if you can't unlock everything this year.

The Halloween Crate will return every year during Halloween!

As always, our cosmetic crates remain completely free and can be found simply by playing the game.

New Transport Cart – Move 4 Boxes at Once!

A highly requested quality-of-life feature is here!

We've added a brand-new Transport Cart that makes moving your products much faster.

The cart can hold up to 4 boxes at the same time.

Instead of carrying every box individually, you can now transport multiple boxes at once and restock your storage areas much more efficiently.

Important: The Transport Cart can only be used by players, not employees.

This should make restocking larger stores significantly more convenient!

Main Menu Visual Improvements

Our Main Menu has received another visual overhaul!

We've adjusted several graphical elements and improved the overall design to make Retail Rivals look even better from the moment you launch the game.

Vending Machines & Storage Shelves Improved

We've reworked the dedicated storage shelves for Vending Machines once again.

At the same time, we've fixed an issue affecting the Vending Machine Employee.

The interaction between employees, storage shelves, and vending machines should now work as intended again.

Employees Appear More Regularly

We've also addressed another issue reported by the community.

New employees should now appear more regularly, making it easier to reliably hire staff for your stores.

Twitch Integration Improvements

Our Twitch Integration has received another round of bug fixes!

We've resolved several issues to make the connection between your Twitch chat and Retail Rivals more reliable.

Tons of New Sound Effects!

We've added a large number of new sound effects!

These additions help bring Retail Rivals to life and provide better audio feedback for many actions and situations throughout the game.

And of course, the Halloween events benefit from their own spooky atmosphere and fitting sounds!

Additional Fixes & Improvements

Alongside the major additions, we've fixed various smaller issues and improved existing systems.

We're continuing to work through your feedback as quickly as possible to make Retail Rivals better with every update.

With Retail Rivals: Kitchen Chaos, we're bringing a completely new gameplay experience to the world of Retail Rivals.

This time, you won't simply order finished products and sell them.

YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO COOK!

At launch, you'll be able to run:

A Burger Restaurant

A Pizzeria

Prepare meals yourself, unlock new recipes, and build your very own restaurant!

Expand your kitchen and dining area.

Upgrade your regular and refrigerated storage.

Cook, serve customers, and work toward running a successful restaurant.

And all of this will be combined with the familiar Retail Rivals gameplay!

Kitchen Chaos isn't just another shop pack – it expands Retail Rivals with a full cooking and restaurant management system.

We can't wait to show you more!
