SONAR will support 1-6 players in the submarine.
All hands on deck, crew!
You asked for room for more friends, and we’ve been listening! Here at Abylight Barcelona, we’re excited to announce that S.O.N.A.R. - Submarine Operators Not Actually Ready is increasing its crew limit to six players per submarine!
That means two more friends to help operate the stations, repair the damage, and explain why the flooding definitely wasn’t their fault. Either in Coop or Open World Survival mode.
And with bigger crews come bigger battles: Team Deathmatch is expanding to 6v6, with up to 12 players facing off across two submarines. More teamwork, more torpedoes, and probably a lot more shouting.
The increased player limit is coming to the demo on October 22! To everyone who asked to bring more friends aboard: we hope this gives your whole crew a chance to dive in together. Thank you for sharing your feedback and helping us shape S.O.N.A.R.
Abel, we still listening, the smaller submarine for solo gamers will come later!

See you in the deep blue!
