The SHOOTYCRAFT Playtest Is Open

The playtest is now open to everyone. Request access and we'll let you in shortly (or immediately).

How to join

  1. Find the Join the SHOOTYCRAFT Playtest box on this store page
  2. Click Request Access
  3. The playtest shows up in your Steam library. Install and fly.

What you're getting into

SHOOTYCRAFT is a free multiplayer space shooter and base builder with classic Subspace-style momentum physics. Dogfight over territory, mine ore, and build out your team's base: generators, turrets, walls. Then defend it while you push into everyone else's.

The servers are always alive. No scheduled sessions to wait around for. Worlds run 24/7 with teams fighting and bases growing, so you land in the middle of something whenever you log in. There's also a solo mode with bots if you'd rather learn the ropes first.

Tell us what's broken

That's what the playtest is for. We especially want to hear about:

  • Flight feel. Does the momentum combat click?
  • Network lag. How invisible is it?
  • Your first 15 minutes. If something confused you, tell us where you got lost.
  • Building and team play.

Post in the community discussions, good or bad. We read everything and we ship fixes fast. You'll see your reports show up in the patch notes.

What's next

SHOOTYCRAFT will be in Steam Next Fest, October 19-26 with a public demo. The playtest is your head start. If you like what you play, wishlist the game and follow this page so you catch the demo launch and everything after.

See you out there. Watch the geysers.
