Taival Early Access: Enchanting & Armor Effects Update

Hello, adventurers!

A new content update is now live in Taival!

Update v0.6.0-401 introduces Enchanting and Armor Effects, giving you new ways to customize your equipment, strengthen your builds, and shape your playstyle.

Enchanting

The new Enchantment Station is now available!

Using the Enchantment Station, you can upgrade individual pieces of armor with special effects and improvements.

You don't need to collect a complete armor set before you can start enchanting. Every armor piece can be upgraded individually, giving you more freedom to experiment with different combinations as you find new gear throughout your adventure.

Armor Effects

Your armor can now do more than protect you. With the new enchantment system, armor pieces can gain special effects that activate during combat, opening up new ways to shape your build and approach encounters.

These effects can react to different combat situations, such as triggering an explosion when your health gets low, with different enchantments offering benefits depending on your armor type and playstyle.

And the more you commit to an enchantment, the better it gets. Equipping multiple armor pieces with the same effect can increase its strength, improve its chance to activate, or reduce the time between activations.

Stack Your Enchantments

Equipping multiple items carrying the same enchantment will improve its effect.

Depending on the enchantment, stacking can:

• Increase its chance to activate
• Make its effect stronger
• Reduce the cooldown between activations

This means you can specialize heavily in one enchantment or experiment with different combinations to create a build that works for you.

Enchanting is only getting started.

In our next update, we'll expand the enchantment system to weapons, alongside improvements to Taival's combat.
