Over 1,000 people have added the TOWERMOUTH demo to their Steam library. For a game nobody had heard of, made by one person, that took a while to believe.
The wishlist side is smaller and slower. TOWERMOUTH is at 93 right now — seven away from its first hundred. Small numbers, but they are real people, and I can see every one of them.
I build all of it: the tower, the monsters, the loot, the weapons, the two-player couch mode. It is slow, and every floor gets tested until it is actually fun before it ships.
There is a lot more coming. More floors, more monsters, more ways for a run to fall apart at the worst possible moment.
Thanks to everyone who downloaded it , climbed a few floors, or passed it to a friend. There was no marketing — that is genuinely how it spread.
