Summer is drawing to an end, and our sunburnt developers are getting their beach sand all over the office as they plop down in front of their computers once more, lamenting their poor time management skills while on vacay. But we're not here to talk about them. We're here to talk about the four foreboding silhouettes standing before you!
A couple of months back, we allowed the community to vote on which role should be added to the game next, the Hacker or the Artist. We turn to the community once more to help us shape the future of Walk of Life, but now the dilemma turns into a quadrilemma, as there will be four roles to vote on!
Unlike the previous vote, it's uncertain how many of these will find their way the base game (apart from the winner, of course), so be sure to make your votes count when the voting starts! To drum up some excitement before the campaigning truly begins, so we'll be unveiling a new role candidate every week before voting starts on our Discord server. Now let's meet our first contestant: The Beastmaster!
This animal lover forms a deeper bond with their pet than the other roles do, allowing their pet to start granting even more boons when they're well taken care of. The Beastmaster can also take in temporary foster pets, giving them love before finding them a new home. While fostering, they'll have two pet perks active at once, opening up for wild new strategies!
