High by Design Update

Sup guys! This month we've been working on giving you more ways to make the shop your own and sell more than weed. High by Design brings custom merch, promo posters, and autoshits to do more of the work while we work on adding some useless employees

Bigger Business

The new Megastore gives you a bigger shop downstairs and a growroom upstairs, available separately so you can expand when you're ready. Build Buddy (still experimental) lets you rearrange supported properties with interior walls and doorways, and change the available storefront sections. More room to work with, and more say in how you use it.

The new Signature furniture set and shop customization options give you more to spend that money on, including new wall, floor and ceiling finishes. Neon signs and dancing inflatables help get people's attention outside too. Pimp out the shop so customers can get fucked by your prices in a nicer environment.

Hands Free

Automatic rollers and packers turn your weed into boxed joints without you spending the whole day at a rolling table. Keep them supplied and collect the finished stock when you're ready. Better devices work faster and hold more, and new racks help fit more production into your space. Use the original packaging or print your own designs for the finished packs.

Vending machines handle the selling too. Stock them with joint packs and come back for the money, with upgrades carrying more stock and a bigger selection. Your hands are finally free for other activities... Keep the activities to yourself though.

Low IQ

Low IQ Lab is open for business. Head over to design and print your own posters, clothing, bongs and packaging, with better styles unlocking as you progress.

Steam Workshop lets you share designs made with the game's artwork, download other people's creations and edit them for your own shop. If your artistic ability peaked at drawing dicks on a school desk, somebody else has probably made something you can use.

Custom Merch

Stock your shop with your own bong and clothing designs, sell them to customers, and wear the clothes yourself. Better styles help make merch more desirable and valuable, and customers can develop favorites among the kinds they buy. Build up their loyalty and respect and they'll get more interested in your clothing too.

Custom promo posters help push the weed and merch you want to sell. Get someone's attention and they'll start looking for what you're advertising, influencing where they shop and what they buy. Better designs and paper make the promotion more effective, while better paper lasts longer. Get high and you can see what they're jonesing for.

Other Shit

- Grow setups now let you add supplements in bulk, and stress treatments give a fixed reduction while active.

- Seed stacking preserves your genetics, and you can deliberately merge compatible seeds to blend their traits.

- New wall connections bring water and power into the building without dragging hoses and cables through the doorway. Less fucking around with the plumbing while you're trying to grow weed.

- U-TRASH turns unwanted inventory into money. Dump your shit in the compactor and take the fixed payout, or gamble on a better or worse offer for the whole load. The money goes into the bank.

- TV sound now fades with distance instead of following you around the whole island. We've also fixed the browser crash when loading saves containing TVs.

- Fixed the Steam Deck startup freeze, so you don't need the special launch command to get past it anymore.

- You can rename storage containers and put dismounted scooters and skateboards back in your inventory. Rolled joints also show their source strain, making it easier to keep track of what you've made.

- Crafting progress is clearer, switching conversations and interactions takes less messing around, and the controls rebinding screen works again. We've also fixed cancelled grinder pours and interactions going through walls.

- Fixed small growrooms disappearing in co-op, ocean and shadow flickering on medium, and containers failing to load because a random item was unavailable.
