Balance Changes
All powerups and weapon crates now last 20 seconds. Armour, Double XP and all four weapons were 30 seconds. The Magnetism card now gives 20% more reach per pick, down from 25%. Double XP is still shared by the whole team, but each player's timer now uses their own Power Up Duration rank.
Tower Defence Changes
The Crypt
A new buildable structure has been added; The Crypt. Crypt plots are placed beside the track and each player gets one or two of their own, depending on the team size. Crypts raise skeleton allies that hold the path. Any zombie that walks into them is stopped and attacked until the skeletons are defeated. Skeletons will respawn from the crypt 4 seconds after being killed.
Crypt Upgrades
"Raise Dead" - Raises another skeleton each pick (max 6 skeletons at 5/5). "Rusted Cleavers" - Skeletons deal 6 more damage each pick (max 48 damage at 5/5). "Frenzy" - Skeletons attack 10% faster each pick (max 0.59 seconds between hits at 5/5). "Hardened Bone" - Skeletons gain 36 more health each pick (max 300 health at 5/5). "Grave-Fire" - Skeletons burn nearby zombies for 2 damage a second each pick, and the radius grows with every pick (max 10 damage a second at 5/5).
New Flying Enemy
Flyers have been added to the mode. They will start spawning from round 3 and will make up around 8% of enemies at first and rise to 15% by round 10. Flyers cannot be hit by turrets, crypt skeletons or melee. A new buildable turret has been added. "The Sky Lance"; It is available to be built for 50 coins from round 3 once the flyers start spawning. Sky Lances only shoot flyers and cannot hit anything on the ground, so you will need to decide which of your pads cover the air.
