Hold The Line - Update 0.3.0-alpha
New Map: Abandoned Police Station
- The abandoned police station is now playable! A full second map with its own wave flow, workbench, barricades and Core defense.
New: Opening Cutscene
- Starting a game now plays an action-packed intro: your character fights through the horde.
New System: Match Settings
- Pick your map from the lobby and tune 14 zombie/wave settings: starting zombie count, spawn rate, tank/runner/core-rusher waves, max runners and more.
- In co-op the host edits while everyone else sees changes live; also available in single player. Localized in 8 languages.
New Weapon: A3500X
- Available in the store: $400 ($600 in co-op).
New Ammo Type: 9mm
- The A3500X and MP5 now use 9mm (the M1911 stays on .45 ACP).
- Purchasable 9mm box: 30 rounds / $60, up to 120 in reserve.
Tutorial System
- A 6-page illustrated guide on first launch: the Core, buying weapons, ammo, the workbench, barricade repair and the level system.
New System: Levels & Perks
- A level system has arrived! Killing zombies earns XP; when you level up, press TAB and pick one of 3 upgrades.
- 26 different upgrades: Sharp Rounds, Headhunter, Piercing Rounds, Extended Mag, Big Bang, Combat Medic, Explosive Death, Vampire and more...
Zombie Improvements
- No more getting stuck on corpses: you now walk right through dead zombies — but bullets still hit them and they react. Body piles no longer block your path.
- Harder hit reactions: headshots send zombies reeling, arm shots twist them sideways — with natural variation on every hit.
- No more attacks through walls: if a zombie can't see you, it won't attack.
Fixes
- Quiet 3D audio fixed — zombie, barricade and footstep sounds are back to full volume.
- Flashlight no longer whites out the screen on close surfaces (auto-dimming added).
- Fixed objects vanishing when approached.
- Major performance pass — noticeably smoother framerate.
