The Abode

  • New — Build an Abode at the City Lord's Mansion in one city of each tier, paid in that city's City Contribution. The city you pick is permanent.
  • New — Your Abode belongs to your account: every cultivator on it shares the rooms. Only the cultivator who built it can spend City Contribution on it.
  • New — Storehouse: extra storage for all your cultivators that survives reincarnation. Bound items can't go in. An Abode holds items up to its own tier.
  • New — Herb Garden: up to 16 plots, each growing a Dao fruit a day from reagents in your Storehouse.
  • New — Apprentice Workshop: apprentices learn a recipe from one of your cultivators and craft it for you.
  • New — Scripture Pavilion: scribes copy the jade slips and recipe manuals you lend. Each copy teaches one of your cultivators.
  • New — Spirit Vein Mine: miners dig the city's spirit stones every day.
  • New — Beast Stable: pass beasts between your cultivators, or send them on 8-hour hunts for monster cores.
  • New — Hall of Renown: display stands for your gear and beasts that every visitor sees.
  • New — Upgrade each room for more workers, plots, stalls or stands. Each Mine and Stable upgrade also yields 10% more.
  • New — Visit other players' Abodes from City Abodes.
  • New — Your active pet stands beside you at your Abode, and visitors see it too.
  • New — Every room has two views to choose from, and estate skins (Phoenix Nest, Frostpeak Palace, The Hollow Moon) change your Abode's look.
  • New — Commission a custom Abode or room background from the Abode page.
  • New — Each room waits for you to collect its work. The city's Errands list everything ready, with Collect all.

Phoenix Roost Festival

  • New — The Phoenix Roost Festival runs for 30 days in the Blessing Shop, with three tiers: Spirit Spring, Spirit Vein and Grotto-Heaven.
  • New — The tiers bring the Phoenix Nest, Frostpeak Palace and The Hollow Moon estates, three new frames (Spirit Spring, Jade Lotus, Moonlit Grotto) and vouchers.
  • New — Divine Favor: each tier you own fills the festival's bar, and each step pays a pick and a title (Hermit Beyond the Clouds, Lord of the Grotto-Heaven, Master of the Blessed Land).
  • New — Full Favor adds a Heavenly Tribulation aura, an exclusive lightning nameplate and the five Abode helpers.
  • New — Abode helpers: the Mine Overseer, Herb Garden Steward, Beast Keeper, Scripture Keeper and Forge Deacon keep their rooms running without you. A helper never makes a room produce more than collecting on time would.
  • New — At two tiers, Divine Favor pays a Secret Art voucher: commission your own secret art, with any of the new art effects.
  • New — Festival Jade packs, sold only while the festival runs.
  • Change — Already own an estate from a tier? You get its value in jade instead.

Roadmap Update

  • Spirit Severance (T6): 100% built. Its signature system is complete.
  • Nascent Soul (T5): 90% built. Domains, its signature system, is in progress.
  • Live now: Abodes and Custom Abodes.
  • Coming in version 1.3: the Alliance Overhaul, Underworld Cities (60% built) and Custom Frames.
  • See the full Realm Roadmap from the title screen.

New Effects

  • New — Six secret art effects: Mountain-Toppling Fist, Cloud-Piercing Ascent, Nine-Shadow Onslaught, Water Prison, Heaven-Swallowing Void and Dust-Returning Finger. Pick one when you commission a secret art or a legacy beast.
  • New — Four Heavenly Tribulation auras (Violet, Gold, Azure, Black), each with six painted styles.
  • New — Five pill flourishes: Pill Furnace, Thunder-Tempered Pill, Five Elements Cycle, Heavenly Dew and Blooming Lotus.
  • New — Three strikes (Yin-Yang Palm, Frost Lotus Cut, Dragon Tail Lash) and three shots (Dragon Pearl, Foxfire Wisps, Phoenix Feathers).

Chat & Names

  • New — Chibi stickers: send any emote chibi you own as an animated sticker in chat and whispers.
  • New — Name auras: Living Flame, Starlight River, Thunder Vein and Frost Breath glow around your name in chat and in fights.

Weekly Favorites Vote

  • New — Every week, vote for the Beast of the Week and the Avatar of the Week from that week's new commissions, starting with launch week.
  • New — The winners' commissioners earn a permanent title: Master Summoner for the beast, Heaven Favored for the avatar.
  • New — For a week, the winning beast spawns far more often in every region and 10% stronger. A capture keeps the boost.

Commissions

  • New — New avatars: Asura, Shadow Puppeteer, The Steel Ox Cultivator, Celestial Mystery, Dark Sovereign, Dual-Pupil Sovereign, Poet Immortal Li Bai, Spring Heavenly Alchemist and Demon, plus a Goblin Lord remake.
  • Change — A legacy beast can now roam more than one region, and the Bestiary lists each.
  • Fix — Player-made secret arts translate reliably again; some showed their creator's own words in every language.
  • Fix — Portraits in Fellow Daoists no longer flicker, and a commissioned portrait your game doesn't have yet shows the default face.

Automation & Plans

  • New — Explore plan step: explore what's left of North, South, West, East or all four regions in your chosen MP range, then move on.
  • New — Repeat: a plan can run again, lap after lap, until a chosen heavenstage.
  • New — Buy Body Forging or Wind Walking hall time right from the plan editor.
  • New — Sect Messenger Pigeon (Blessing Shop): while you're away, it hands in finished sect missions and takes new ones. Two levels.
  • New — The Tortoise Breath Pearl now stacks to five: up to 72 hours away.
  • New — Your best Comprehension Stele and Elemental Gathering Array go into their slots by themselves: at a breakthrough, a reincarnation or a purchase.
  • New — Share a plan: copy a saved plan as a code, then paste it into another character's planner.
  • Fix — Kill Order auto-explore: the sidebar's World Map and Leave Combat now stop it instead of sending you back into the fight.
  • Fix — Auto-explore's START no longer stops after the first hex.
  • Fix — Saved plans now survive reincarnation.

Combat

  • New — Talisman hotkeys: right-click a talisman in the CAST popup (or the HOTKEYS list) to bind a key. It casts the highest tier you can fire.
  • New — Boss HP bars: a big HP bar for each boss at the top of the fight, up to three at once.
  • New — The combat bar shows your pet's skills: ready, on cooldown with the seconds left, or active.
  • New — Black Lotus bosses show their moves: Spirit Burst and Heal count down under the boss bar, and the burst's real reach is marked on the ground.
  • New — A hit cut down by the realm or art-tier gap shows ↓ on its number, and the combat log says why.
  • New — Change instance: switch to another instance of the same hex from the fight, to join a friend or your party.

  • Fix — Elixirs turned on in the Alliance Boss fight no longer vanish when it ends.
  • Fix — The Alliance Nemesis board names every fighter instead of "Cultivator".

  • Fix — Trump-card auto-fire no longer stops and offers its unlock again until you relog.
  • Fix — Splash hits (an art's area damage and sect splashes) no longer count Corruption and Corrosion twice.

Cultivation & the Daoist Path

  • Change — Daos: every level past 300 counts in full again. Only the XP past 300 stays slower.
  • Change — Martial Power counts Soul Guard for soul armor (Veils), the way it counts DEF for other armor.
  • Change — Speed's card now says its banked XP becomes memory levels in Wind Walking.

  • Fix — Daoist Path: Soul Force's card shows its real damage per level. It showed half.
  • Fix — A studied art's comprehension level no longer runs ahead of the real one.
  • Fix — Daoist Path: hovering the lower half of a stat no longer flashes its description away.
  • Fix — Treasure Vault: the bonus total now splits what's active at your realm from what's locked above it.
  • Fix — A partial reincarnation clears a saved Dao Insight plan and says so, instead of opening with no points.
  • Fix — Daoist Path: the Body Forging row shows its percent beside the multiplier, so it matches the Dao card.
  • Fix — The Foundation tab is back in the sidebar after a reincarnation.
  • Fix — Secret Arts: an art in a second or later Slaying or Life slot shows as equipped, with its own HP slider.
