Nearest future plans for LOST & FOUND
Hey everyone!
It's been 5 days since my game launched. As you've probably noticed, I've been working hard to fix the bugs you've reported, sometimes releasing as many as 3 updates in a single day. I think it's safe to say I've removed around 90% of the bugs you've reported... not too bad, huh?
Of course, these small updates aren't the end of my support for the game. I'm still reading all the feedback you share with me, and I know there are a few more things to add to help the game reach its full potential. Below is a list of update ideas I plan to work on in the near future:
v.1.1 LOW CORTISOL UPDATE (this/next week)
Planned changes:
- Comfy Mode - no timer!
- Gameplay Settings - options to enable/disable bombs, earthquakes, blackouts, adjust the number of forms, items, etc.
- Accessibility Settings
v.1.2 GAMEPLAY IMPROVEMENTS (Oct/Nov 2026)
This update will focus on improving the existing game mechanics and introducing a few smaller gameplay additions. The main goals are to improve game balance and address your requests for things you'd like to see in the game.
I'm not going to reveal any specifics just yet. I have a few ideas in mind, but I'd like to keep them a surprise!
v.1.3 HARDCORE MODE (Nov/Dec 2026)
I've planned to introduce Hardcore Mode from the very beginning: one mistake and you're fired, no saves, no option to disable bombs, earthquakes, blackouts... pure hell.
This mode will be designed for competition between players, with scores recorded on a global leaderboard, just like in Arcade Mode.
v.1.4 STANDARD / COMFY MODE MULTIPLAYER* (Dec 2026/Jan 2027)
That asterisk is there for a reason.
I have some bad experiences from the past. In my previous game, I promised players a multiplayer mode, only to discover later that it was impossible to implement because of the game's spaghetti code. The only solution would have been to rebuild the entire game from scratch.
You see, when making a game, you need to decide pretty early on whether it's going to have multiplayer or not. My original vision for this game was a single-player experience, with multiplayer available in Arcade Mode as a nice little bonus.
However, I've seen your requests, and I don't want to ignore them. I'll do my best to make multiplayer happen, but I can't promise anything just yet. Keep your fingers crossed!
OTHER STUFF
Besides the updates listed above, I'm also considering potential controller support, Linux and macOS ports, and a few other smaller additions.
These plans are meant to give you a general idea of the direction the game is heading in. The dates are tentative and may change.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your kind words, valuable feedback, DLC purchases, and the overall positive reception of the game! I hope we can work together to make it even better!
Oh, and one last small favor: if you're enjoying the game, please consider leaving a positive review. It helps the game gain visibility on Steam, and it gives me a huge amount of motivation to keep working on it.
Thanks, and see you in the next update!
